Hi there! And welcome to my blog!
I'm Brenda, and I LOVE being a photographer. Being able to do something for a living that never really feels like "work" is amazing. I am a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia where I studied art and photography. Since then I starting digging my heals in all areas of photography trying to find my niche. Once I tagged along as a second shooter at a wedding with a friend, I knew I had found it. I love that I get to be a part of such an important day in people's lives and document it for generations to pass on.
When I'm not shooting or editing, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Ben and our beautiful daughter, Bailey (yes, we are the three Bs) at our home in Stone Mountain. And next to us on the couch are our two favorite pups Jack and Shorty (lab and beagle). This blog will not only follow my recent wedding and portrait work, but you'll get an occasional post about the happenings in our neck of the woods.

Oh how I love Emmalee and Billy, from the moment I met them. Billy is the goofiest guy I’ve ever met and Emmalee has a smile and laugh that is contagious. Their wedding at the always gorgeous Kimball Hall was, to sum it up, the perfect day. 
Waaay back in 2008 (which seems like yesterday), I shot one of my favorite weddings of all time in Madison GA. Do you remember Megan and Merritt? Well, I was so happy her little sister, Marilee gave me a call when she got engaged! They were wed at the beautiful Georgia Club in Statham, GA. It was a perfect day and I was so happy to see some familiar faces, and meet some new ones (Megan and Merritt’s 7 week old son, Sam!) Chad is a Fireman, so they got access to an old firetruck! Photographer’s dream:)

Just getting around to posting some awesome weddings I shot last year. This is one from June of last year and took place at Grace UMC and Emory Conference Center. Here are my favorite images of the day!
Back in 2009, I had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Serenbe wedding of Dana and Ben. So when her sister and maid of honor called me to shoot her wedding I was so excited! These girls are such a blast and I was really stoked to shoot at the stunning Montaluce Vineyard in Dahlonega. This place is amazing. The look is classic and rustic Italy, and you totally you forget you are in North Georgia. Terri, who runs Everything and More Events made the day run flawlessly!

I was so excited and honored that Kristina and Hunter chose me to come to South Carolina to photograph their wedding. It all took place about 30 west of Hilton Head on a beautiful resort, The Inn at Palmetto Bluff. Gorgeous doesn’t even begin to describe this place. And the weather was absolutely perfect to match. 
This gorgeous weather has me reminiscing on one of the most gorgeous days we had back in May. Tyler and Mathieu’s amazing Atlanta Botanical Garden wedding. Such a wonderful couple paired with an a incredible venue and vendors made everything come together magically! Here are some of my faves from the day.

Caroline and Kevin got hitched back in April, on the same weekend of the royal wedding. But William and Kate got nuthin on this lovely couple! Though her dress and flowers randomly ended up being similar to the new Duchess, we know she got the idea from Caroline.

Woah. Wedding season is in full force! I am super busy, have about 6 weddings to edit, portrait sessions, a baby to raise…yada yada yada. So, I’ll skip the fancy words and get to the photos of Ashley and Andrew’s AMAZING wedding on Lake Lanier.
