So, I’m back!!! My first wedding post baby went amazingly last weekend and I am loving the shots I got of Tom and Stephanie. I have a wedding almost every weekend from now until November so many new photos to be posted I’m sure.
Until then, here is my 8 week old sweet pea hamming it up like she does every morning. I can’t begin to describe how much I love her. And you can see why:

Introducing…Bailey Day Upton

She’s finally here! My sweet baby girl was born on July 14th and we could not be happier. We had scheduled a c-section for the 14th once we discovered that in her 39th week she flipped upside down (that joker!)! But, at 3am the morning of the 14th, I started contractions anyways. So, she was truly meant to come that day! We just moved the c-section up and she came at 10:15. She was a whopping 9lb 7oz and 21 1/2 inches long! Big healthy girl:) She is amazing and we fall more and more in love every day. Mommy is healing up just fine and will be back shooting in no time. Of course, she was my first victim. Hope you enjoy these photos of my lil sweet pea!

Nikki & Patrick: Kimball Hall

So it has taken me a while to post the full blog of Nikki and Patrick’s wedding day! I have been in full nesting mode, preparing for our little girl who is on her way in a few weeks! We are so excited and you have no idea how ready I am to not be pregnant anymore! This heat is really taking it out of me. I’m sure I will post many many pics of the little one in weeks to come, so stay tuned!

For the love of Granny Panties…

Yes, yes. Granny Panties. It’s just fun to say.
Today’s post is a bit of a sneak peek for Nikki and Patrick who were married at Kimball Hall last Saturday. This was my favorite moment of the day! At the reception, the sneaky Julie handed Patrick some Granny Panties to surprise Nikki with during the garter toss. Let’s just say she was more than surprised….she fell out of her chair! Patrick then went on to put on the panties, prance around, then shoot them into the crowd where his sister caught them! Happy Friday everyone!!!

Katie & George: Emory Conference Center

I was so excited to finally be shooting Katie and George’s wedding! I met with them last January (2009!) when they booked me for their big day. It seemed so far away at the time, but that year flew by quicker than anyone imagined. Though several small things went awry (as they usually do), coordinator Amanda from Ashley Baber Weddings was right on top of things. And Katie handled everything with grace. It turned out to be the perfect day. Here are the ladies getting hair and makeup done at the Emory Conference Center Hotel…by the always incredible Brushworx.

Serena & David: Kimball Hall

Serena and David’s May 8th wedding could not have been on a more beautiful day. The whole day had this amazing glow to it…maybe it was coming off of the bride and groom? You can tell these two are sooo in love with each other by the way they lit up whenever they were together. We had such an awesome time! And of course, as always, Kimball Hall looked gorgeous! The flowers were amazing, and the lanterns hanging from the ceiling of the ballroom added extra flare. Here are my faves!
Meet David. One of the most sweet and sincere guys I’ve ever met. No wonder Serena loves him so!Serena has a smile you can see for a mile. I’m a poet and didn’t know it.Stunningly beautiful…just flawlessDavid met Serena while he was playing with his band in Athens. So, of course he had to relive those days and show us his amazing talent at the same time! He joined the band to play a few songs for us. They are sooo good! And so was the band, the “Highballs“.Then he serenaded Serena:)

Cassie & Craig: Ritz Carlton Buckhead

I can’t tell you how much I love Cassie and Craig. Their wedding day was so much fun, and their positive attitude made the nasty rainy day feel like the sun was shining! They laughed until their cheeks hurt (and I laughed until the baby did a somersault!). These two were so much fun and just totally and completely head over heels for each other. We started the day at Redeemer Lutheran Church downtown

Next we headed to the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Buckhead

And here is the continuation of my last blog! Like I said, they were up for anything!

Stephanie & Tom: Stone Mountain Engagement Portraits

What a gorgeous weekend for more shoots! I met up with Stephanie and Tom at Stone Mountain Park on Saturday and had such a good time. These two are crazy in love and soooo cute together! I love that they could barely contain themselves during the shoot and cracked each other up the whole time. Makes my job easy! And what great smiles they have!
I should be done editing Cassie and Craig’s extraveganza tomorrow so check back for those!

A little spontaneous craziness…

I’m sifting through the first edit of Cassie and Craig’s wedding reception at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead when I stumbled upon this one. I had to share it right away because it just makes me smile! After a few glasses of wine, I convinced the wedding party to come with me to the hallway for some fun shots. They were totally up for it…and even suggested this one…and I’m oh so happy they did!
