Hi there! And welcome to my blog!
I'm Brenda, and I LOVE being a photographer. Being able to do something for a living that never really feels like "work" is amazing. I am a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia where I studied art and photography. Since then I starting digging my heals in all areas of photography trying to find my niche. Once I tagged along as a second shooter at a wedding with a friend, I knew I had found it. I love that I get to be a part of such an important day in people's lives and document it for generations to pass on.
When I'm not shooting or editing, you can find me hanging out with my husband, Ben at home in Stone Mountain. And next to us on the couch are our two favorite "manimals", our pups Jack and Shorty. This blog will not only follow my recent wedding and portrait work, but you'll get an occasional post about the happenings in our neck of the woods.

It was such a pleasure to finally get to work with the amazing Michelle Gainey from Lemiga! And even more amazing was watching Courtney and her mom tear up when they saw the wonderful job she did setting up the reception and ceremony sites with Courtney’s “Grandma’s Attic” theme.

It was a beautiful Friday night in Acworth back in June when we had the opportunity to shoot the wedding of Carrie and Kyle. I met up with Carrie at the hotel to get some getting ready shots before we headed over to the gorgeous Cedar Plantation.
